One-night only performance of “Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens,” a song cycle with monologues by Janet Hood, with text by Bill Russell, originally performed off-Broadway in 1989, now brought to the Latchis Theatre on Saturday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. Each of the monologues is written from the perspective of characters who have died of AIDS, while the songs reflect loved ones left behind. Special opening performance by Jody Sperling, founder of Time Lapse Dance.
Tickets are $75 for VIP (includes pre-show reception), $40 for orchestra, and $20 balcony. Please consider adding $35 to any ticket in recognition of the 35th year of the AIDS pandemic.
